Special French Issue

On the occasion of Lithuanian Season in France, a special issue of Vilnius Review was published in French. A team of 13 translators worked on the publication, where you will find translations of poems and of prose excerpts from the books of 18 writers. It is probably the first anthology of contemporary Lithuanian literature in French that is so comprehensive, covering the latest literature of different generations--from established figures such as poet Tomas Venclova and prose writer Undine Radzevičiūtė to talented writers of the younger generation such as poet Tomas Petrulis and prose writer Ieva Dumbrytė. The selected texts cover the years 2020 to 2024.
